Who We Are

Troop 1701 has earned a tremendous reputation of serving scouting families and our Coachella Valley community. We are sponsored through our charter organization, the Rotary Club of Indian Wells. Our mission is to provide a program that builds character, teaches life-long skills, promotes citizenship, improves mental and physical fitness, and creates lasting memories and friendships.

When We Meet

The Troop meets weekly on Monday nights during the school year from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Colonel Mitchell Paige Middle School.  Refer to our website calendar for more details.

What We Do

We experience amazing adventures through monthly campouts and outings.  The boys lead the troop, decide on activities and meal plans, organize and maintain the gear, and work hard on advancement through the ranks of Scouting. The Scoutmaster guides the Senior Patrol leader, Patrol Leaders, and member scouts, with guidance from adults through an Adult Committee.  Refer to our website calendar for more details.
